Vanita M. Sander, MSW

Senior Director of College & Career Access and Success

Vanita M. Sanders, MSW brings nearly 20 years of experience to her role as Senior Director of College & Career Access and Success with SCP. In this new position, Vanita will be leading our community-based efforts around college and career success for students and adult learners.

Prior to joining SCP, Vanita served as the Senior Director of K-12 Education and Digital Inclusion at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, where she led education, digital inclusion, and community initiatives.

Kiylise Lowe

Senior Program Consultant

As Senior Program Consultant with SCP, Kiylise Lowe brings over 15 years of experience in out-of-school time youth development and capacity building to her new role

Her experiences working with leaders, managers, point-of-service staff, and young people ignite her passion for the field and for creating opportunities that prepare all to thrive.

Alyssa Williams

Director of Equity Initiatives

Over the last year-and-a-half, Alyssa Williams has been a grounding force for our team and the leader behind critical partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and businesses. In her role as Manager of Community Initiatives, Alyssa designed and organized the Community Impact Incubator in partnership with the Marygrove Conservancy and is in the midst of launching the inaugural Kanada Fellowship cohort. 

As she continues to lead powerful equity-based work, we are excited to announce that Alyssa has been promoted to Director of Equity Initiatives! Leading as her true, authentic self, Alyssa will scale the work she has been leading, developing new initiatives, and growing her team!
