Early Childhood Listening Sessions
We are excited to announce our next iteration of our Community Impact Incubator. Our Early Childhood Incubator will build the capacity of Detroit’s home-based and center-based businesses and community.
This incubator will include the launch of two cohort tracks focused on sustaining, strengthening, and growing Early Childhood entrepreneurs who currently operate or are looking to scale into:
Home-based childcare businesses
Center-based childcare business co-located in shared community space
With two differentiated tracks, the incubator will include:
A nine-month fellowship experience
Embedded technical assistance and professional development
One year of individualized support and coaching following the fellowship
We do not believe in building in a silo. We do believe we must listen to those we are seeking to engage, walk, and work alongside. As we continue this beautiful journey, we are excited to invite you to a community listening session to share your voice, thoughts, and inputs as we imagine our third incubator cohort. Your voice will help us not only finalize our curriculum, but our parameters and selection process. All are welcome, yet we are particularly interested in hearing from:
Parents and families of Early Learners
Home-based childcare business owners
Center-based childcare business owners
Early Childhood educators
Early Childhood ecosystem stakeholders
We recognize how busy your schedule may be and also want to be in proximity. We are collaborating with our partners to host three listening sessions in a community near you. We hope you can join us for one! RSVP here today!
