SCP Welcomes Four New Team Members
As SCP continues to grow our partnerships and impact, we are proud to welcome four new members to our team. Alyssa Williams, Will Sexton and Tessa Scott each bring a unique set of skills and experiences that will help further strengthen our organization’s work and commitment to community.
Join us in welcoming these four talented professionals to the SCP team! We look forward to sharing the amazing work they will do.
Alyssa Williams joins the SCP team as our Community and Educational Initiatives Fellow and brings an interdisciplinary background in early childhood and higher education, community engagement, feminist studies and social work. Alyssa is a newly accepted Challenge Detroit Fellow with a passion for being a part of Detroit’s revitalization.
Dina Bankole brings over ten years of administrative experience to her role as executive assistant to the president & community manager with SCP. With her deep committed to equity and impact, Dina’s previous experience also includes five years of working with Detroit-based nonprofit organizations and social enterprises.
Tessa Scott brings more than six years of experience in education and equity in urban and rural communities to her role as manager of Teach 313. Her passion and experience in education are essential to her work in making Detroit the best city for teachers.
William Sexton is a communications and marketing professional with a passion for amplifying voices and stories from diverse communities. As SCP’s communications manager he is responsible for developing the organization’s digital and physical outreach strategies while also working collaboratively with SCP’s partners to promote and advance their missions.
