Ray Myers is a dedicated changemaker and former Marine Corps veteran with nine years of service, where he specialized as a K9 Handler and Drill Instructor. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Ray completed two combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom alongside his specialized search dog. Seven years ago, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he established Oasis Detroit, a general contracting and construction company focused on beautifying the community while providing second-chance employment opportunities for veterans and others seeking a fresh start. Through Oasis Detroit, Ray is committed to creating a more vibrant and enjoyable city for its residents, all while offering pathways to gainful employment for those in need.
