Arshele Tyus graduated from Michigan State University with a major in political science pre-law. After college, Arshele worked as a college access professional in both Detroit and New York City. Arshele's experience in the education sector has provided her an enriching opportunity to work across public and charter schools in the areas of scholar and talent recruitment, college access, and retention. With a strong desire to impact the public sector systematically, Arshele received her master’s degree in public administration with a focus in social impact, investment, and innovations from New York University.

Currently, Arshele is the Manager of Student Recruitment Retention and Engagement at Promise Schools. In her spare time, Arshele loves to travel, hike, bike, and explore the city of Detroit.
