ANDREA HARP

Andrea Harp is the Michigan Science Center's Director of Culture and Community, where she is in charge of strengthening workplace culture as well as planning and implementing community engagement strategies. She is passionate about emphasizing the significance of prioritizing people above projects. As a seasoned nonprofit leader, he is known for maximizing operational excellence, program execution, and partnership development. She has effectively worked to elevate the platform of the STEMinista Project, an initiative aimed at improving the enthusiasm and confidence of girls in STEM education, during her time at the Michigan Science Center.

Andrea earned her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Phoenix, with a focus on community and social programming. Her work in youth development and mission-based organizations has been focused on ensuring access and equity in the communities she works in. Andrea also works as a consultant for the Mentor Michigan, where she consults with organizations looking to implement quality improvement strategies. Andrea has made it her life's work to help others.
