Jon Barth is the co-founder and Director of Data Engagement at Built by Many, where he brings over a decade of experience in project management, data analysis, and strategic community outreach. Known for his creative, data-driven approach, Jon has dedicated the past seven years to advancing community and economic development initiatives across Detroit. His work with the Southwest Detroit Business Association and other local organizations has contributed to the city’s revitalization, tackling urban challenges with innovative solutions that resonate within the community.

A University of Michigan alumnus, Jon earned a Master of Urban Planning in 2011. His career has included impactful roles such as Transportation Planner for the City of Ann Arbor and Community Organizer at Wayne State University's Center for Urban Studies. From leading neighborhood projects to coordinating fundraising and community engagement campaigns, Jon’s work reflects his commitment to fostering growth, collaboration, and lasting change. Outside of his professional pursuits, Jon is an avid cyclist and can often be found exploring Detroit with his wife, Marissa, and their dogs, Winnie and Grape.
