Gabriela Sullen is the Director of Partnerships and Initiatives at Strategic Community Partners, where she channels her passion for bridging gaps and creating opportunities that empower individuals and organizations. A Detroit native, Gabriela has a deep commitment to community health and policies that uplift Black and Brown families globally.
Previously, Gabriela served as Associate Director of Constituency Programs for Planned Parenthood of Michigan, where she led initiatives including Black Organizing, RAIZ, Civic Engagement, Generation Action, and Patient Advocacy. Her background also includes roles as an Executive Consultant with the Rise Coaching Agency, focusing on community outreach and global partnerships, and Director of Strategic Partnerships at Greenhorn Employment Solutions. Early in her career, Gabriela contributed to policy and compliance enhancements at Johns Hopkins Health Care System.
Gabriela is also an active volunteer on the Core Engagement committee for Warrior Women Against Poverty, a Detroit nonprofit supporting homeless women and children. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Latino Studies from Wayne State University and a Master’s of Public Administration in Healthcare from Oakland University. Gabriela is a 2024 fellow in the Great Lakes Political Academy’s Fellowship program.
