Charmaine Brown is the President & Founder of Connexions Consulting, Inc., bringing over 28 years of expertise in strategic HR, diversity & inclusion, talent management, and HR compliance across industries such as real estate, banking, healthcare, and nonprofits. Before establishing Connexions Consulting, she served as Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Forest City Enterprises, where her leadership was instrumental in positioning the company among DiversityInc’s 25 Noteworthy Companies. Her achievements in building impactful diversity programs and forming community partnerships have made her a recognized thought leader in the industry.

Charmaine has shared her insights on diversity and inclusion as a speaker with organizations like NAREIT and ICSC and was awarded the Commercial Property Executive’s Diversity Executive of the Year. Her contributions extend to nonprofit work, where she currently serves as Secretary of the Women of Color Foundation and holds various other board roles. Her accolades include the 2023 NAWBO Greater Detroit Chapter Top 10 Women in Business award and the Career Mastered Top Diversity Leader award.

A Michigan State University graduate, Charmaine lives in Michigan with her husband and children.
