Andre Samuels, Ed.D. is an expert in leadership development, team dynamics, and organizational transformation, with a dedicated focus on empowering and coaching Black leaders. Believing leadership is about influence rather than authority, he guides leaders to discover their authentic styles, build self-awareness, and enhance communication skills.
Andre has led professional learning sessions with organizations including Barclays Bank, Baltimore County Public Schools, Jackson Memorial Hospital, The Aspen Institute, Urban Teachers, and American University. His executive coaching clients span Anagen Staffing & Solutions, City Year, The Bayne Corporation, and 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, DC, among others.
Certified in Executive Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and trained at the NYC Leadership Academy, Andre holds a Bachelor's in Human Communication Studies, two Master’s degrees from Howard University, an MBA in Leadership from Georgetown, and a Doctorate in Educational and Organizational Leadership from The University of Pennsylvania. He is also certified in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and holds certifications from Gallup's Strengths and the Center for Creative Leadership.
Committed to addressing systemic biases and fostering diverse leadership, Andre provides strategies to help Black leaders navigate corporate challenges, leveraging their cultural background as a strength. In addition to his professional achievements, Andre is a proud father, member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, DC, and Walker Memorial Baptist Church. His personal affiliations underscore his dedication to community and personal growth, principles that guide his coaching practice.
